Who are we? |
|
|
The Southern Cross has been a bar for over 100 years. It has traded under various names in that time span. From the Tequila Bar, Nezer's Piano Bar and Hos Simon it finally ended up being the Southern Cross. Nezer was a popular Danish Jazz musician and Simon Rosenbaum was the brother of the late Danish comedian pianist Victor Borge. The aims of the Southern Cross are to promote Australian beers and wines. Over the past couple of years we have installed various satellite systems, enabling us to obtain sports coverage worldwide (check out On TV). We endeavour to show all rugby, cricket and Aussie rules football whenever possible, regardless of what time they are on air. We also show American football, icehockey, basketball, premier league football, etc. etc. Why not come by and see for yourself what we are like! |
